Word choice

1font00Hello all, 02br
02br
00Could somebody please help me? Firstly, the word "downfallen" , can it be used in the following verse: 02br
02br
00...For buzz of bees and scent of pollen,02br
00And can-docks over water's deep,02br
00For silver threads of rain downfallen,02br
00For all 't still dwell beneath the steep....02br
02br
00...if not, which word would suit? 02br
02br
00And secondly, only one dictionary suggested the meaning "sky" for the word "steep". Can it really be used with this meaning or it is just some out-dated info? 02br

00Thank you in advance.02br
