Can anyone tell me a word to depict the complete story when someone like for an instance take the example of a girl when she want to tell something but prefer to listen it from boys only. When they want to complement any boys but don't want to look offered by doing so.what is that one works that can describe the whole scenario when any sex want to look offered by not saying it directly because that will hurt their ego.

I don't think that English has any specific word for your complete story. (Which I didn't really understand. "look offered" is not a good phrase. )
