IS there a synonynm for moutainous ocean floor? I saw a video a while ago in which the French investigator said: It's not only deep but it's also ________. cant remember the word here but it starts with an M. Hoopefully, someone will be able to help. Thanks. HEre I am talking abt the Air France tragedy.

In that video there's a guy that says something like It's got a depth that is tremendous.

Is your question about the word tremendous? It doesn't mean mountainous, if that's what you were thinking. It means extreme.
