Hi,

All these are correct grammar, but C is the standard choice. The others do not give suitable meanings.

The underlying meaning of the sentence with I can't is basically 'I want to thank you excessively, but unfortunately It is impossible'. ie I am very, very grateful.

Hi, Regards.

I took it from the paper for Chinese College entrance examination.
And I found some questions strange, so I am asking you native teachers to prove what I doubt.

Judging from what you said, the sentence sounds odd to your ear, right?
Would you please make it clear?

Hi,

It's a standard phrase.

I can't thank you too much - eg Even if I thanked you a million times, it would not be too much.

Hi,

I would just say:

Hi, Clive. You mean B is the only correct answer, right?

norwolfI ___ thank you too much
I accept I can't thank you too much, but I prefer I can't thank you enough.

won't is an unfortunate choice because it can mean 'refuse to'.
