Won't

He couldn't book a hotel room for me for tonight so I won't/wouldn't be able to stay overnight for tomorrow's activities.

Can both be used and what's the difference? Thank you!!

This is a better question. The answer is ' won't' for almost all cases; 'wouldn't' is tentative and either expresses hesitation/politeness or requires another condition.
