Hi all! I am working on a document that talks about the culture of big consulting firms. It says that those who are sponsored by a consulting firm to get their MBAs are called McKinsey Girls. Since I have never heard of this name, I try to search online for its origin (and accuracy). Does anyone know about it? I want to make sure if this term is common, and if it generally means all of those who are being sponsored, or only those sponsored by McKinsey? Thanks!

Nothing special, but would seem to many nowadays as sexist, with "Girl." But only doing research in that field could you tell if the term is really used.
