Hello,
I would love your help with a noun:
I know that we can say "the seven wonders of the world", but just because I cannot find this use of the word "wonder" in the dictionary ("wonder" as a noun is described only as a feeling), I would like to know if the use as in "the seven wonders of the world" is okay for the writing of an article (is it too informal? is it outdated? is it just not recommended at all?)
Example:
"These paper wonders took years of dedication in the hands of one of the most traditional Japanese craftsmen."
also, should I say "wonders of paper" instead of "paper wonders"?
Thank you!
Ana Machado is it too informal? is it outdated? No, it isn't informal or outdated.
