Women' backs?

- I like girls whose backs are beautiful.
- I like girls whose back-appearances are beautiful.

Are both sentences grammatically right?
Can I call people's backs just "backs"? How about "back-shapes"? I don't know what you,English people call it?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Just call a person's back her back Your other phrases sound strange. A special term is 'his backside ', meaning his buttocks. This often sounds impolite, so be careful.

Ah! I didn't know that "backside" indicates "buttocks". I need to be careful to use it. Thank you for your teaching, Clive Emotion: embarrassed
