without vs with no

I am Kevin Espinoza.

I wonder what the difference between without and with no?

Is this case similar to not vs no? I think so.

Waiting your help...

Thanks

The meaning is often identical, but the usage is different.

You can't use the 'with no' version before a proper noun or personal pronoun, for example.

Hi Kevin;
It all depends on the sentence. Some replacements work, and others are questionable:

A life without love is no life at all. (OK)
A life with no love is no life at all. (OK)

Few people can survive without water for three days. (OK)
Few people can survive with no water for three days. (???)
