Vocabulary

without drama

Hi, I'm not sure about the meaning of this.

"I went throught the whole test without drama."

and I put the phrase in google, and found "dating without drama"

Does it mean without grief?

Thank you!

Thank you Clive, It's very helpful.

How about "The car suddenly lost all drive without drama and without bad noises."?

Does it have other meanings?

Thank you!

Hi,

This is an extremely awkward and unnatural sentence. You need to rewrite it another way.

Consider this. Cars, and other things, don't do things calmly (ie with no drama). People do things calmly.

Best wishes, Clive
