Within...of/ after

They reached our home within an hour after/ of me predicting about their arrival.

Intended meaning: they came within an hour after I predicted.

Which is the correct preposition?

And, also

Please let me know if I can use 'in' instead of 'within' in such cases? I think it would be wrong because 'in () hours' would mean 'after () hours'.
