If the Grand Hyatt is a three-minute walk away from the Spy Museum, they are within walking distance of each other, aren't they?

If place A is within walking distance of place B, how far are they away from each other?

I just meant that "walking distance" is quite vague and depends on the individual. It looks like they mean about two kilometers. For me, anything under a mile or two is OK in decent weather. If it's 40F and raining sideways, call me a cab to cross the street.

I think a hotel would have very angry customers if it said that something was "within walking distance" and it was two miles.
I'd say 10-12 city blocks is probably what they can get away with.
