within the same list of people

"I don't give a damn. I'm going to be who I'm going to be," said Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant. "I'm not Kobe Bryant. I'm not Michael Jordan. I'm not LeBron James. I'm not Magic Johnson. I'm me." said Kevin Durant

Is it correct to say "within the same list of people"?

Someday soon, another star will emerge and within that same list of people, he'll say "I'm not Kevin Durant."
Thanks
