within the framework of paper

Hi, would it be ok to say this:
The author thanks Dr. Ivanov for his help in some test measurements within the framework of present paper.

I personally prefer "within this paper" and don't like "within the framework..."

Thank you!

Thanks, Clive. But how to stress that these measurements were conducted within the framework of this paper?

Such thanks typically appear on a page that follows the title page. That makes it obvious that the thanks are for work related to the topic of the paper.
