Within the bounds

Hi,

Let's say that I passed an exam and I got 83 points out of 100 so the teacher gave me a B. (89-79 points = B)

Could I say that the score I got was still within the bounds of a B?

Thank you.

You could, but we wouldn't. I don't see any contextual reason for 'still'. We would just say 'The grade I got was a B' or just 'I got a B'.
