Within or at?

Hello,

I know that within is the correct choice, but is it also possible to use 'at'?

The beach was at easy walking distance.

Thanks

Not in that structure; 'at' requires a slightly different one. These are OK: The beach was within easy walking distance. The beach was at an easy walking distance.
