I have to correct this sentence.

I will return your book within two weeks.

I wiil return your book by the two weeks.

Whic one is correct and why?

I think what the teacher is looking for is:

'I will return your book in two weeks' time.'

And it means 'after two weeks', that is, on the 14th/15th day; neither of your other sentences has the same meaning.
