Because you can just say: I hope you find the information interesting.

The definite article ("the information") already makes it clear that it is the information within that you are referring to, so the word "within" becomes superfluous.

To that my daughters would say, "Duh", which I usually find very annoying, but which is very apt here. It is perfectly clear that you are referring to the information in the brochure.
