Hi folks!

Just wondering...is it "please write with full sentences" or "please write in full sentences"? Thanks!

I suppose it is " please write in full sentances" because ( well, I think the explanation is correct ) with is usually used for tools like pencils and all, if you catch my point. You cannot write with sentences because they are not actually tools or instruments, to be specific.

OK, thanks for your answer. I'm still wondering though why so many books say "please write/answer with full sentences" --- could there be another meaning of this phrase? Is it simply wrong at all? Or is it correct but just less common? Thank you for your answers!!

It certainly isn't wrong. I just think the explanation offered makes more sense.
