Withdrawal symptom

Hi,

Can ‘withdrawal symptoms’ be used figuratively?

“I haven’t watched a TV show in two days. I’m starting to get withdrawal symptoms.”

I’m not sure if using ‘withdrawal symptoms’ works in this case. I obviously don’t mean it literally.

If not, do you have any other ideas? It’s supposed to be a funny comment.

Thank you.
