With which

Are these sentences correct:
1-He was given the password with which to access the security system.
2-He was given the password, with which to access the security system.

In "1" the clause is supposed to be "defining/restrictive" and is supposed to clarify which password he was given.
In "2" the clause is supposed to be "non-defining/non-restrictive". Here there is only one password and the sentence clarifies what he is supposed to do with it.
Gratefully,
Navi.

There are no relative clauses here. Only #1 is correct, but it's unnatural and wordy. This should do the trick: He was given the password to the security system.

Here are some better examples of restrictive and non-restrictive clauses:

1. The password which unlocked the security system was 12 characters long and contained numerals, letters and symbols.
2. The password, which was 12 characters long and contained numerals, letters and symbols, unlocked the security system.
