"with" versus "of"

I cannot make up my mind if there is a difference in meaning in the following two sentences:
1) After a 24-hour period with good sighting conditions operations may proceed.
2) After a 24-hour period of good sighting conditions operations may proceed.

Thank you for that synonym. However, my main concern was the difference between the use of the words "of" and "with". Does anyone have some comments about that?
