With... to... or to... with...?

Hello

Which of the following two sentences would you consider correct?

I went with my friends to the zoo.
I went to the zoo with my friends.

Or are both constructions grammatically OK?

Thanks a lot!

" If you say, "I went with my friends to the zoo," that would, indeed, be "correct," but "with my friends" would interrupt the smoothness of the sentence. One grammarian says it would = I went, with my friends, to the zoo.

Kunsan, both are "correct." It would probably be better if you said, "I went to the zoo with my friends." Thanks a lot! Indeed, the "smoothness" of the sentence was bothering me. Your fast answer really helped me out.
