Hi!
Could someone tell me whether my understanding about this phrase correct?
(Its about a poem "Autumn")
Autumn is the decline of he greenery and freshness of summer.It is presented as the background to a society that is also in decline, in moral and social standards.
Is the following rephrasing correct?
The decline of greenery and freshness of summer is presented with the decline of society in mind.
If it isn't correct could you rephrase the main sentence?
