The world is growing as strongly as it is known as the 4.0 era (called the 4.0 technology era). More and more people prefer digital books instead of traditional textbooks. However, some believe paper books are so highly effective in reading. I will show both advantages and disadvantages of this trend in this essay.

First and foremost main advantage of soft books, we can read wherever we want. Additionally, we have a chance to download it on your devices. Today, many e-books are free cost from the Internet, and readers will be able to access instantly to a vast range of books. Also behind this ability, a lot of books together can be read at the same time by the reader. Furthermore, technology readers are easily able to carry various books with no physical space. On the contrary, paper books take up a lot of space, and difficult to carry many books at once. The other advantage is that e-books are eco-friendly. The production of the e-book doesn’t need environmental fuels like paper, ink, and other materials to operate machinery such as the production of traditional books.

On the flip side, there are also several detrimental effects of using e-books. The first problem we can see is that we have to have electronic, modern technology devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, computers, … and the cost of them isn’t cheap. Besides, using a lot of technology will be harmful to health, especially our eyes. When reading for a long time will cause us to suffer from eye strain or other eye problems like myopia.
