With the neck

Are these sentences correct:

1) The pitcher, with the handle covered in tar, was sitting on the table.
2) The pitcher, with its handle covered in tar, was sitting on the table.

3) The statue, with the head in pieces, was lying on the floor.
4) The statue, with its head in pieces, was lying on the floor.

5) Jeff, with the neck in a bandage, was sitting in front of the window.
6) Jeff, with his neck in a bandage, was sitting in front of the window.

I think '5' doesn't work.
