... with the largest number of searches

Hi, I would like to clarify on this:

Let's say there is a list of countries with a large number of searches and one wants to say the top few countries on the list e.g.:

Singapore 100
Malaysia 95
US 94
New Zealand 88

etc.

One would very likely say, "Countries with the largest number of searches are..."

However, only 100 is the largest number here and there is only one country with 100 searches.

Do we assume that the larger numbers i.e. 95, 94, 88 etc. are also the largest number in this context?

Thanks!

e. 95, 94, 88 etc. are also the largest number in this context?

  • e.
  • 95, 94, 88 etc.
  • are also the largest number in this context?
  • Yes.
  • But you might just use 'with the most searches'.
