With the first...

"As India and New Zealand get ready to lock horns in the five-match One-Day International series, with the first ODI starting in Dharamsala on Sunday, Rajneesh Gupta presents all the relevant numbers and career records of both teams and the players from the respective squads."
What is the grammatical function of " with" here? And what does it modify here? Please explain to me the use of with in the given context?
Thanks

The subject of the participle clause (i.e., the non-finite clause) is the first ODI.

The subject of the main clause (i.e., the independent finite clause) is Rajneesh Gupta.
