With Reference to Sites: On or In?

Hi,

Do you use on or in when referring to sites? Say,

1.) Have you added me (on,in) Facebook?
2.) Why should the question be (on,in) the school site?
3.) Click the "Teachers" tab (on,in) English Forums.

I've always seen "on" used. Does this always apply to things related to the Internet?

Also, is there a need for the enclosed words here?

I had no sleep and ("I") was trying to study.
I had no sleep and ("I") had no money. | I had no sleep and ("had") no money.

Thank you.
