With or without to

Life is inviting us to the abode of joy.

If I turn the sentence into a question, how should I write this ( with or without 'to')?

Where does life invite us?

Where does life invite us to?

To me, both seems okay, yet I want to make sure!

Please help!

And also, my problem is the same with the sentence below where again I think both may be possible.

Life invites us where all the joy prevails/ to where all the joy prevails.

Please let me know if my assumption is right.

Yes, your sentences work, but they are not the matching question. If you want to turn the original sentence into a question, do this: Is life inviting us into the abode of joy? Does life invite us into the abode of joy?
