With or without the article "the"

Hi, my name is Patricia. My friend is making a photo book and we are not sure about the title. "The Spirit of the Omo Valley" or "The Spirit of Omo Valley". I prefer the first version just because it looks visually nicer and sounds better to me. I am confused because I have already checked some web pages and I have found The Omo Valley and Omo Valley.
