With or in?

Hi,

1. Human frailty does not lie with the ability to know which is right and which is wrong, it lies with the ability to choose the right one.
2. Human frailty does not lie in the ability to know which is right and which is wrong, it lies in the ability to choose the right one.

Sentence one and two, which sentence is the correct one?

Thanks,

A.L.

Hi, I wouldn't call 'with' wrong, but 'in' seems more natural. You could say 'with' if you want to make the sentence a bit more unusual and more striking. Clive.
