Understood but more common: I have a midterm on physics Monday.

Clive1 suggests you will have more than one of these exams.
Thanks. More than what exam exactly, physics? If so, Does it suggest I will have more than one on the same day or sometime later in the course?

Also, Would the addition of 'on' before Monday to the sentence that unknown wrote be also correct? (I have a midterm on physics on Monday)

Thanks. More than what exam exactly, physics? That's a bit unclear. Perhaps more than one midterm, perhaps more than one physics midterm.
If so, Does it suggest I will have more than one on the same day or so
