With many positive/good/beautiful things to offer the curious traveler

Although involved in civil war since the 1980's, Sri Lanka is an island with many positive things to offer the curious traveler.

Hi,

Is positive in the above interchangeable with good and beautiful without making a change in meaning? Thanks.

'Positive' does not mean good or beautiful at all, though they might be included among the positive things (which could also include cheap accommodations and friendly girls).

Yes, it's a very general word. It is only a dichotomy: positive things and negative things.
