Hi, experts!

If you offer something with ease, does it mean you offer it "easily" or that you offer "ease" as part of the package?

You can do something with ease, but generally that is some physical or mental task that you can do with little effort.

He adds long columns of numbers with ease.

Yes, but why can't you "offer" something "with ease" too? I don't understand how saying something like "John offers teaching services with great ease" could be wrong.

It makes sense to say "John teaches his students very complex concepts with great ease."

It does not make sense to "offer with ease" because an offer is something static, something that is just made available, but does not directly involve an effort or activity until that offer is accepted. You can accept an offer with ease.

The reason it sounds strange is as AS said: the verb "offer" does not seem to involve sufficient "real" action or activity for it to be performed "with ease" or otherwise.
