with accuracy to

Hi

If I wanted to say something ridiculous such as

Measure the width of the square with the accuracy to one thousandth of an inch. or

I need a clock that can show time with the accuracy to one thousandth of a second.

Are these even remotely correct? The word "accuracy" must be used.

Thanks!
