Yes, but it’s a bit wordy. I would say, ‘I came to your house to thank you’.

that's right. because that is a clause of purpose. when you use the phrase" with a view to", it dedicates the purpose of doing something. just remember after " with a view to" you need ad gerund(V-ing)
