What does with a six mean? 6 trump cards?
Plus, I don't get the meaning of 'a low trump' as in He took my ace with a low trump.

I don't. In bridge (I assume that is the card game.) you trump your opponent's ace, or your opponent trumps your ace. You cannot trump your own ace!
