With a big foghorn sound

Hi

It was a very frustrating meeting, as it happened, and we were itching to get back to the studio. We walked into this groove of Brian and Danny's, with a big foghorn sound on Larry's drums loop, and all joined in, Bono got on the mike and it all unfolded very quickly.

--- Does it say that Danny and Brian added the foghorn sound to Larry's drum part?

No, it doesn't specifically say that. It just says that there was such a sound. As far as one can tell, Brian and Danny were the "composers" of this "groove", but they may not have been responsible for all the effects.

Hi

So it just says that these two guys made the Larry's drum part sound like a foghorn?

No, it doesn't specifically say that. "this groove of Brian and Danny's" implies that Brian and Danny were responsible for composing (originating) the basic "groove". If they're all working in the studio together then Brian, Danny, Larry, or anyone else, could have come up with the foghorn sound and laid that over the top. We're not told.

"We walked into this groove of Brian and Danny's, with a big foghorn sound on Larry's drums loop, and all joined in, Bono got on the mike and it all unfolded very quickly."

--- So it just says that they came back to the studio and they saw Brian and Danny working on Larry's drum part which sounded like a foghorn, but it's not said who was responsible for that foghorn sound, right?

No, it doesn't specifically say that. In fact, it doesn't specifically say that Brian and Danny were even present (though it could reasonably be assumed that they were).

It's reasonable to imagine that Brian and Danny, had, at some unkn

Hi

I think it says that Danny and Brian were present: We walked into this groove of Brian and Danny's, with a big foghorn sound on Larry's drums loop, and all joined in, Bono got on the mike and it all unfolded very quickly.

--- So they (Adam, Larry, Edge and Bono) went back to the studio and joined Brian and Danny.

It's a very reasonable assumption, but I'm not sure it would stand up in a court of law!
