Wishes

Dear users,

When I want to extend my wishes to someone I can use wish + a noun as in
(1) "I wish you a lot of happiness" but if I use a clause after wish the sentence doesn't seem to work , e.g.

(2) I wish 2014 brings you what you long for

(3) I wish 2014 brought you what you long for

I would like to ask you which of the following sentences sounds better

(4) I wish for 2014 to bring you what you long for

(5) It is my wish that 2014 brings you what you long for

(6) May 2014 bring you what you long for.

Best
Daniel
