Hi,

Here are some suggestions. I assume the name of the University is on the 'letter-head'.

The university is pleased to invite you to a presentation on its "System of Cool Students" and to the opening of the 'Cool' classrooms: if people don't know anything at all about this

Sorry for the delay!

It's been kind of bussy.
First of all Thank you very much for taking the time to read.
I appreciate very much your advice.

nona the brit :

I'm trying to say that after the "presentation" people will have some wine and aperitives.
How can I say this?

English_teacher :

Don't worry the originals are capitalized.

Hi,

"to a presentation on its . . ." This sounds like you will tell me about something.

"to a presentation of its . . . " This sounds like you will show me something.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi!

I didn't know that "expression".

Thank you.

does anybody have any suggestion about "cocktail", which word can I use instead?

Hi,

Nona just meant that the word is 'cocktails' rather than 'cocktail'.

On an invitation, 'cocktails' means that alcoholic drinks will be available, often with small snacks as well. People stand around and talk, and meet each other, and drink a little.

Best wishes, Clive
