Wish I would

Hi,

Is I wish I would get up earliercorrect?

I know one can't say ''I wish I would...'' ,but I came across the sentence in an exercise book, which made me wonde.

It is grammatically fine; it's just an odd thing to utter about oneself. 'I wish I could get up earlier' makes more sense, or 'I wish she would get up earlier.' These are both normal, common English.
