wish and regret

Hello I have doubts when I have to use these verbs to speak about the past.

Do you say `` I wish I had learnt how to play baseball when I was a child?

I regret I had met you? I regret I had not visited Miami? I regret I had never been to New York

Correct.
irlandesI regret
I regret having met you.
I regret not having visited Miami.
I regret never having been to New York.

The grammar of "regret" is very different from the grammar of "wish".
