Wish

Hello,

I want something to happen in the present or in future and to show it by using the word "wish" such as I want to have a lot of money now or in the future.

1. I wish I had a lot of money. ( This is a present wish?)

2. I wish I would have a lot of money. ( This is a future wish?)

How to identify whether a sentence indicates a future wish or a present wish?

Does "would" indicate future wish and simple past a present wish?

could any one here explain it?

Thanks.

1) is totally correct. 2) This doesn't sound natural. It may depend on the verb, meaning that it should be more of a finite action, such as I wish I would win the Lottery.
