Vocabulary

-wise as a suffix

This is the sentence more or less: "There are plenty of people, not numberwise, but characterwise." However, I feel that this expression isn't suitable to the text, that is, it feels very informal. Or am I wrong? If it is informal or awkward is there aa incisive way of saying this?

Top answer

Without knowing what the full text is, it is difficult to say if it is too informal. It seems all right to me as a statement.
