Letter Writing

wise advice - candidate's letter

Could you please help me to improve this letter? I am writing to enquiry about possible opportunities at a language school in my town that has a terrific reputation and I would like to submit to their attention my resume politely.
Here is it:

I am writing with regard to the possibility of teaching at your school as a TEFL teacher.
I have a MA's degree in xxx (class:merit) awarded by XXX and I have earned a CELTA certificate to teach English as a second language. I have taught English for more than two years and I have been offered a place at a Cambridge Young Learners extension course this summer as I would like to expand my knowledge and develop my career towards fun educational programmes for children.
I would like to submit my resume for your consideration as a TEFL teacher for young learners at your school and my candidacy as a possible interviewee.
I strongly believe in teaching as a mission and I would like to be part of a renowned institution that has always set high standard for English teaching.

Many thanks. I have never written an unsolicited cover letter. Somehow it intimidates me. I wanted to do my best and I am really grateful for your help. Do you think the style and the content are appropriate or is there anything I can add/omit/amend?

Thanks a lot.

No - it is fine. All it needed was the little bit of rephrasing that I did. Emotion: smile
