"wing" it? or some word that sound like it

A: I feel unprepared going in to do the presentation. I wasn't given enough time to prepare for it.

B: Well, "wing" it. We all do.

Sorry, this is all I have for context. It sounded like B was suggeting A to "fake" it, perhaps?
