Windswept

Hi,

Can I say that my face is ‘windswept’ after I have been exposed to a strong wind?

It doesn’t sound quite right, but I wasn’t able to think of a different adjective off the top of my head.

Thank you.

I think you want "windburned". "Windswept" is normally used of terrain, like windswept tundra.

"Windswept" is used for landscapes. Hair can be "windblown." Skin can be "wind lashed" or "wind whipped."
