Window size vs window's size

Hi, what is the difference between "window size" and "window's size". What is the correct way to say that the size of the window is for example 1,5 x 1,5m?

Top answer

Both are OK, no real difference. 5m. Note that we write a decimal point as a period, not a comma.

But I usually say eg The window is 1.5m x 1.5m.

Note that we write a decimal point as a period, not a comma.

The general practice is to use the possessive form ('s) in only a few contexts, such as when the first word represents a person or an amount of time (John's bicycle, a day's work), and to use the plain form in other cases (daytime temperature, computer screen).
