Vocabulary

win over... myself?

Hey there!

Could I say:

1) I've won over myself

or should I rather say:

2) I've had a win over myself
or
3) I've won out over myself

Which one is incorrect? Is there any difference between them?

Thanks!

Hi, They all sound strange. Are you trying to say something like 'I've persuaded myself to agree with myself'? Or perhaps 'I've had a victory over myself'?

Thanks Clive,

That's what I wanted to say, yeah... "'I've had a victory over myself'"

Is there any other way to express that/it, but by using "to win" ?

Best wishes,

Maybe "I've won an internal struggle wtih myself"?
